Frequently asked questions

Does cropping change the size of the subject?

No. The selected pixels are exported at their original scale. The output dimensions match the crop width and height.

Can I enter an exact crop size?

Yes. Enter the width, height and the distance from the left and top edges. The selection must fit inside the original image.

Will a transparent background stay transparent?

Choose PNG or WebP to preserve transparency. JPEG replaces transparent areas with white.
